Greater London is an administrative district. It covers London, England. About 7.5 million people live there. It is also one of the regions of England used by the Government for various purposes, including administration and statistics.
London is the largest urban area and capital city of the United Kingdom. It is located in the southeast of Great Britain. The London region covers an area of 1,579 square kilometres (610 sq mi), and had a population of 8.982 million in 2019 and a population density of 5,596 people per square km as of 2021.
