Lower Macungie Township's conversion to a First Class Township in 2008 has allowed it to provide a high quality of life for its residents and visitors. The township is located in Lehigh County, immediately west of Allentown.
Lower Macungie Township Historical Society was founded in 1989, after a log house in Wescosville was moved to the nearby township park. Our first responsibility was to restore the building to its appearance in the nineteenth century.
