Oleg Valerianovich Basilashvili (Russian: Оле́г Валериа́нович Басилашви́ли; Georgian: ოლეგ ბასილაშვილი, pronounced [oleɡ basilaʃʷili]; born 26 September 1934) is a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor. He was awarded People's Artist of the USSR in 1984.
Оле́г Валериа́нович Басилашви́ли (род. 26 сентября 1934, Москва ) — советский и российский актёр театра, кино и телевидения, общественный деятель; народный артист СССР (1984), лауреат Государственной премии РСФСР имени братьев Васильевых (1979). С 1959 года — артист Большого драматического театра. В 1990—1993 годах — народный депутат России .
Oleg Basilashvili received the title of People's Artist of the USSR. He was awarded the State Prize of the Soviet Union and was decorated by the Russian government. Basilashvili was elected the representative of Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in 1990.
