But the evidence is almost unanimous that Lucy during her later years of "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy" was just a nasty, cold, controlling, shrewish bitch to everyone--even her daughter, who upholds her legacy, admits she was not a nice person then.

On the morning of 5 August Richard, though breathing, did not awake. He had suffered a cerebral haemorrhage and died at 1.15p.m. in hospital in Geneva.

A curiosity and very depressing, it was obviously seen as a valid representation at the time, the original play starred Paul Scofield and Patrick Magee so it attracted pedegreed actors. It's a bad movie.
