1211 Avenue of the Americas, also known as the News Corp. Building, is an International Style skyscraper on Sixth Avenue in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City.

Description. Architect: Harrison Abramovitz and Abbe. This project is the third in the trio of the X-Y-Z project "slab" buildings constructed by the Rockefeller Group. The other two being 1251 Avenue of the Americas (aka Exxon Bldg.) and the McGraw-Hill Building (1221 Ave. of the Americas).
The News Corp. building at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, between 47thand 48th Street, serves as the global headquarters of Dow Jones. The News Corp. Building also serves as global base for News Corp., Dow Jones’s parent company, and its sister company, 20thCentury Fox.
