The Spire of Dublin, alternatively titled the Monument of Light (Irish: An Túr Solais), is a large, stainless steel, pin-like monument 120 metres (390 ft) in height, located on the site of the former Nelson's Pillar (and prior to that a statue of William Blakeney) on O'Connell Street, the main thoroughfare of Dublin, Ireland.

The huge, striking and innovative monument of the Spire stands in the middle of O'Connell Street just across from the famous GPO. 120m high and 3m in diameter at the base, the Spire rises above O’Connell Street, breaking above the roof line with as slender and elegant a movement as is technically possible.
Alternatively known as the Monument of Light, The Dublin Spire is a large stainless steel monument measuring 121.2 metres (398 ft) in height. Designed by Ian Ritchie and completed in 2003, it is the tallest sculpture in the world.
