Pall Mall / ˌpæl ˈmæl / ⓘ is a street in the St James's area of the City of Westminster, Central London. It connects St James's Street to Trafalgar Square and is a section of the regional A4 road.

20 de dez. de 2022 · The street took on its name as the first ever pall-mall court was constructed in the area in 1630. Due to its proximity to Buckingham Palace and the Westminster seats of power, Pall Mall has always been considered a superior street – this is echoed by its stunning Georgian architecture.

It replaced the ancient highway which until then had led from Charing Cross to St. James's Palace along a line roughly parallel with, but south of, the present street (fig. 58).
