Zamość ⓘ (em latim: Zamoscia, em russo: Замосць, em ucraniano: Замостя, em iídiche: זאמאשטש) é uma cidade com direitos de condado no leste da Polônia.

Zamość (Polish: [ˈzamɔɕt͡ɕ] ⓘ; Yiddish: זאמאשטש, romanized: Zamoshtsh; Latin: Zamoscia) is a historical city in southeastern Poland. It is situated in the southern part of Lublin Voivodeship, about 90 km (56 mi) from Lublin, 247 km (153 mi) from Warsaw. In 2021, the population of Zamość was 62,021.
16 de set. de 2020 · The Old Town in Zamość is one of the 16 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Poland. It was inscribed to the list in 1992 as “a unique example of a Renaissance town in Central Europe, consistently designed and built in accordance with the Italian theories of the “ideal town”.

Zamość, city, Lubelskie województwo (province), eastern Poland. One of the few large communities in the Lublin Uplands, it was founded on the estates of Polish chancellor Jan Zamoyski (1542–1605) that lay on the trade route between the Black Sea and northern and western Europe.
