Windhoek (/ ˈ w ɪ n d h ʊ k /, Afrikaans: [ˈvəntɦuk], German: [ˈvɪnthʊk]) is the capital and largest city of Namibia. It is located in central Namibia in the Khomas Highland plateau area, at around 1,700 m (5,600 ft) above sea level, almost exactly at the country's geographical centre.

Windhoek (en inglés: Windhoek, pronunciado /ˈwɪndhʊk, ˈvɪndhʊk/; de 1903 a 1917 en alemán: Windhuk, pronunciado /ˈvɪnthʊk/ ⓘ, en portugués: Vinduque) es la capital de Namibia. El nombre puede derivar del afrikáans Wind-Hoek ("esquina del viento") o de las montañas Winterhoek.
Située dans le centre de la Namibie à 1 700 m d'altitude, elle est la plus grande ville du pays et son centre politique, culturel, économique, financier et social. Fondée vers 1844 par Jonker Afrikaner, Windhoek signifie « coin du vent » en afrikaans .
