Sophie of Brandenburg-Ansbach (1614–1646) was a German noblewoman of the house of Brandenburg-Ansbach . Life. She was the eldest child of Sophie of Solms-Laubach and her husband Joachim Ernst, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach.
Sophie of Solms-Laubach (15 May 1594 – 16 May 1651), was a German regent, Margravine of Brandenburg-Ansbach by marriage to Joachim Ernst, and regent during the minority of her son from 1625 until 1639. Early life. Sophie's parents were Count Johann Georg I of Solms-Laubach (1547–1600) and his wife, Margarethe of Schönburg-Glauchau (1554–1606).

Life. Born in Königsberg, Marie was the second daughter of Duke Albert Frederick of Prussia (1553–1618) from his marriage to Marie Eleonore of Cleves (1550–1608), daughter of Duke William the Rich of Jülich-Cleves-Berg. The princess grew up with her sisters in Königsberg Castle .
