Le Devon /ˈdɛvən/ est un comté du sud-ouest de l'Angleterre, encadré par les Cornouailles à l'ouest, le Dorset à l'est et le Somerset au nord-est. La capitale administrative du comté est Exeter. Avec une superficie de 6 707 km2, c'est le quatrième plus grand comté d'Angleterre.

Devon (/ ˈ d ɛ v ə n / DEV-ən; historically also known as Devonshire /-ʃ ɪər,-ʃ ər /-sheer, -shər) is a ceremonial county in South West England. It is bordered by the Bristol Channel to the north, Somerset and Dorset to the east, the English Channel to the south, and Cornwall to the west.

Devon is a county in south west England, bordering Cornwall to the west with Dorset and Somerset to the east. There is evidence of occupation in the county from Stone Age times onward. Its recorded history starts in the Roman period when it was a civitas.
Comté (French pronunciation:) is a French cheese made from unpasteurized cow's milk in the Franche-Comté region of eastern France bordering Switzerland and sharing much of its cuisine. Comté has the highest production of all French Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) cheeses, at around 66,500 tons annually. [1]
