So this hack is mainly 3 things: a total re-balancing of the game in terms of difficulty and costs of items and PSI, a massive text edit back to the Mother 2 original stuff (where it works), and recently thanks to Coil Snake a visual overhaul of all Battle sprites, some backgrounds, and some over world sprites. Attention all MOTHER fans! We’ve been searching for quite a long while for the original MOTHER font, but we were only able to come as far as BankGothic Md BT. But fret not. I’ve created a MOTHER based font. (It lacks the earth, but it’s still close to the original.) (Please forgive the lowercase letters as this was the first font I made.)
Since Mother 3 uses the Sappy engine, couldn’t you just extract the sounds? Although this would require you apply a soundfont to over a thousand files to pick them out. Or perhaps the soundfont would just have all the sounds. I haven’t look very much myself :p. If you’re interested, you could take a look. This was extracted using gbaMus.
