Ubuntu Server for IBM zSystems and LinuxONE (s390x) is available since 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) release and newer, but meanwhile Ubuntu 16.04 reached it's end of base support. The target architecture is zEC12 (zBC12) and up (alternate -march/-mtune switch: "arch10") starting with 16.04.
