24 de dez. de 2022 · The images were posted on the r/eyeblech subreddit. Someone noticed in the comments that the picture of the charred body looked exactly like the Corpse01 model from Half-Life 2. People immediately started comparing the pictures to the game's artwork. Indeed, they have the same appearance.

One of the absolute milestone games, up there with the likes of Super Mario Bros or Ocarina of Time. There is a time before and after Half-Life. Black Mesa is a cool interpretation of it, but it does not replace it. Play Half-Life, folks!
6 de out. de 2024 · Oh wow this brings me back to a specific time. I watched this demo so many times I had a dream where I played through the entire demo. The only other demo I watched more was that Half-Life 2 demo where they used a grenade to topple a shipping container onto enemies and block a door and the combine work together to break through it.

Added dozens of new sprays formerly available only on the "Half-Life: Further Data" CD.

Yeah, I tend to use quicksave, except I actually had to search what the quicksave/quickload keys were since they weren't in the menu (I guess they're the same as HL). Booya_base said:

Valve did just that but in 2007 with The Orange Box, a package containing Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2, those being brand new at the time, as well as Half-Life 2 and HL2 Episode 1.
24 de jul. de 2024 · Which means that this movie(s?) is(/are?) going to have to basically invent an entirely new aesthetic for it which might entirely defeat the "appeal". I feel (vibes wise at least, IANAL) that having any stage-sets or props that look like Half-Life 2 assets could invite legal-trouble for production.
