David Winogrond started playing drums at age eleven. He has an extensive discography, dating back to 1972, that includes many indie rock releases. He has toured both Europe and North America on many occasions. He played on a session with Davie Allan (of Davie Allan and The Arrows) in 1988, became a band member in 1994,
David Winogrond has always been an important figure in the Disaster Amnesiac experience. I first interviewed him several years back, and since that time he's kept me abreast of his ongoing musical pursuits, especially with Youth Chairs, his sweet Pop Rock group.
