Not long after the compilation was released, there were instances of a disc formatting issue where the third disc was exactly like the second one.
The Zoo Tycoon website responded:
Microsoft subsequently licensed Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection to Ubisoft, who re-released the game under its 'Exclusive" value brand in multiple territories and in a variety of formats - including a single disc DVD-ROM version for Windows PC.
•Strangely, the elephant seal is mentioned on the game's description on the official website's "About Zoo Tycoon 2" page, despite the animal itself only appearing in the first game's Marine Mania instead of that of the sequel.
