The only complaint I had was no Haymitch parody. I would have loved scenes that involved taking his alcoholism to extreme levels like one scene he's chugging shots and then as he shows up in more scenes they increase from bottles to a giant keg.
I vividly remember a scene in the first hunger games movie where they've all just been put into the arena, and while they're waiting for the gun shot to begin, someone steps off their platform prematurely and blows up; but I was rewatching it recently and that doesn't happen. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

13 de jun. de 2024 · Things left out of The Hunger Games adaptations didn't warp or tarnish the source material, but sinister details from Suzanne Collins's trilogy - like even more child violence, addiction, and starvation - would have likely pushed the franchise into R-rated territory.
