Donkey Kong [c] is a 1981 arcade video game developed and published by Nintendo. As Mario, the player runs and jumps on platforms and climbs ladders to ascend a construction site and rescue Pauline from a giant gorilla, the titular Donkey Kong. It is the first game in the Donkey Kong series as well as Mario's first appearance in a video game.
As one of the biggest (if not the biggest) video game franchises in history, this unknown relic is emerging with a story to tell! Most people haven’t questioned how Jumpman transitioned to Mario and this plush is helping bridge that gap!

Etone (Mario) Jumpman. In February 2016, This reddit user found a Mario plush on the floor at a Goodwill. It looked similar to Jumpman's design. When you view the images, The tush tag says (C) 1978. It is possible this can be a prototype, or a random stock tush tag was probably put on the Jumpman doll.
