Balmoral Castle ( / bælˈmɒrəl /) is a large estate house in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and a residence of the British royal family. It is near the village of Crathie, 9 miles (14 km) west of Ballater and 50 miles (80 km) west of Aberdeen .

After its acquisition (1852) by Albert, the prince consort (husband of Queen Victoria), the small castle then on the land was replaced.

O Balmoral Castle é usado pela família real nas férias de verão por isso a maioria das salas é fechado. O que vale a visita são os lindos jardins ao redor do Castelo. Andem pelos arredores pois passa um rio atrás do castelo, que rende fotos lindas.
Balmoral Castle is a historic castle in Aberdeenshire, purchased by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria in 1852. The grounds are open to the public for free on specific dates, where you can visit the gardens, gift shop and coffee shop.
