  1. West Heath Girls' School was an English girls' private school established in 1865, initially in London and from 1932 near Sevenoaks, Kent. It closed in 1997. History. Philip Bennet Power and his wife, Emma, undertook the education of their own daughters at their Abbey Wood home, West Heath House.

  6. West Heath flourished as a small, girlsboarding school. It is the school at which Diana, later to become Princess of Wales, spent what she described as the ‘happiest days’ in her life. Coincidently, the school went into Receivership on the 1st September 1997, a day after she and her friend Dodi Fayed were so tragically killed.
