    Washington offers 25 Advanced Placement (AP) courses to its students. AP courses are college courses taught in high school and are considered the “gold standard” of high school curriculum in America.     Washington High School benefits greatly from four parent support groups. The PTA (Parent Teacher Association), the Washington Athletic Club, Patrons of the Performing Arts, and Friends of Forensics all provide extensive support.
