A man (Rex Harrison) awakens in a hotel bed in Wales with no recollection of who he is and why he is in that place. With the help of a doctor (Cecil Parker) he traces himself to a home and wife (Kay Kendall) only to later discover he has six other wives as well.
Charles Hathaway wakes up in West Wales with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. With the help of a Cardiff specialist he traces his life back to his gorgeous wife and their large London house, so all seems well with the world.
