Skaneateles (/ ˌ s k æ n i ˈ æ t l ə s / SKAN-ee-AT-ləs, locally / ˌ s k ɪ n-/ SKIN-) is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 7,112. The name is from the Iroquois term for the adjacent Skaneateles Lake, which means "long lake."

Muito bonita paisagem, e tivemos um bom carro ao redor do lago (cerca de uma hora). Não muito para fazer no lago, uma tranquila zona residencial, agrícolas comunitárias ao redor do lago e a pitoresca vila de Skaneateles. Mas há uma fazenda de lavanda e vinícola no lado oeste (nós não parar, mas ouvi coisas muito bom).
