Robert Calderbank is a distinguished professor of computer science, electrical engineering and mathematics at Duke University. He is also the director of the Information Initiative and a leader in coding theory, quantum error correction and wireless communication.
Robert Calderbank (born 28 December 1954) is a professor of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics and director of the Information Initiative at Duke University. He received a BSc from Warwick University in 1975, an MSc from Oxford in 1976, and a PhD from Caltech in 1980, all in mathematics.
