Robert Brudenell, 6th Earl of Cardigan (25 April 1760 – 14 August 1837) was an English peer and Member of Parliament.

Il siège comme député de Marlborough dans les parlements de Grande-Bretagne et du Royaume-Uni de 1797 à 1802. Il hérite de son titre et de ses domaines le 24 février 1811 , à la suite du décès de son oncle James Brudenell (5e comte de Cardigan) .
Lieutenant-General James Thomas Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan KCB (16 October 1797 – 28 March 1868), styled as Lord Cardigan, was an officer in the British Army who commanded the Light Brigade during the Crimean War, leading its charge at the Battle of Balaclava.
