Newtown School is a multi-denominational, co-educational, boarding and day secondary school. Applications are welcome for boys and girls of all religious backgrounds and none.
Newtown School was founded in the troubled year of 1798 on the Waterford estate which had been the home of Sir Thomas Wyse, himself a key figure in Irish education.
