American country music singer Jerrod Niemann has released seven studio albums and fourteen singles. After independently releasing Long Hard Road and Jukebox of Hard Knocks independently, he signed with Category 5 Records and then with Arista Nashville.

Niemann began his professional music career by singing and playing acoustic guitar in Texas clubs and bars, particularly the Stockyard Saloon and the historic White Elephant Saloon located in the Fort Worth Stockyards. In 1999 he self-released his debut album Long Hard Road. [2]
The release of his debut album, Long Hard Road in July 1998, appears to be the beginning of a prosperous career for this young man. The album reflects his unique style of writing with the old country sounds combined with his own new style of country.
