    Producer, Journalist. 18 November 1939 to 14 February 2018. A British producer and journalist who made his television debut on consumer programme Braden’s Week (1968-1971), Pitman was a reporter for Man Alive (1969-1975) and The Big Time (1976-1980) before making his own documentary series.
