The Ren & Stimpy Show, commonly referred to as simply Ren & Stimpy, is an American comedy animated television series created and developed by Canadian animator John Kricfalusi, and animators Bob Camp, Jim Smith and Lynne Naylor for Nickelodeon.
Spümcø was founded by animators John Kricfalusi, Bob Camp, Jim Smith and Lynne Naylor. Kricfalusi named the company after the fictional person "Raymond Spüm", whom he jokingly described as the inventor of animation.

Kricfalusi was heavily involved in the first two seasons, where he directed, wrote storyboards and produced many episodes, and even provided the voice for Ren Höek .
