Die Regionen ( italienisch regioni, Singular regione) sind die oberste Ebene der Gebietskörperschaften Italiens nach dem Staat. Italien ist in 20 Regionen untergliedert, von denen 5 autonome Regionen mit Sonderstatut sind. Die Regionen ihrerseits sind in Provinzen bzw. Metropolitanstädte unterteilt.
