21 de mai. de 2021 · Edward S. Marcus High School opened in 1981 and is one of the five main high schools of Lewisville Independent School District. Students from the northern parts of Flower Mound, Highland Village, Double Oak, and Copper Canyon attend.
Edward S. Marcus | 1909 – 1977 Edward S. Marcus, the second of four Marcus brothers, first acquired land in Denton County around 1950 and steadily enlarged his holdings until he amassed quite a large ranching operation.
He earned the State of Texas' all time high score with a 9,295, just two points shy of Dan Berdichvesky's record. His record remained the highest score by a Texas Decathlete until Sophy Lee of Pearland High School beat him by less than 10 points at the 2008 National competition.
