- Bishop Wordsworth's School
Website. www .bishopwordsworths .org .uk. Bishop Wordsworth's School is a Church of England boys' grammar school in Salisbury, Wiltshire for boys aged 11 to 18. The school is regularly amongst the top-performing schools in England, and in 2010 was the school with the best results in the English Baccalaureate.
After Bishop Wordsworth's death in 1911, the school was renamed to Bishop Wordsworth's School to continue the lasting tradition of quality education that he had started. In July 1892 the school adopted its first Science Specialism (!) and as a result the Chemistry Lab was equipped that year too.
