11 de mai. de 2021 · Alan was Scotland’s High Steward for some 27 years when he died in on 24th August 1204 at Dundonald, probably aged 64. He is interred in Paisley Abbey. His title then passed to his son Walter, and then to Walter’s son Alexander, who took on the Vikings at Largs in 1263.
