Communicating vessels or communicating vases are a set of containers containing a homogeneous fluid and connected sufficiently far below the top of the liquid: when the liquid settles, it balances out to the same level in all of the containers regardless of the shape and volume of the containers.
The celebrated system of communicating vessels, which also finds applications in other subjects than physics, has been seen to possess interesting dynamical properties. In the present work we have considered two cylindrical vessels containing a non-viscous fluid.
