Após o Perfect Angel, ela ainda lançou o Adventures in paradise (1975), Stay in Love (1977) e seu último álbum em vida, o Minnie (1979), lançado 2 meses antes de sua morte. Para a capa do álbum AIP (1975) tiverem a ideia de colocarem um leão, que veio a atacar a Minnie na sessão de fotos. Mas felizmente nada de muito grave aconteceu.

Minnie Riperton is an American singer-songwriter best known for her 1975 single "Lovin' You" and her five-octave soprano range. Riperton grew up in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side. As a child, she studied music, drama and dance at Chicago's Lincoln Center.
