Solution steps: Install zabbix-server and zabbix-agent (no matter how - via yum or building from source code). Check first if there is already separate users exist in /etc/passwd.

12 de ago. de 2020 · zabbix_agent2 fails to start because the zabbix user does not have access right to the log file. Expected: the rpm package should create the log file /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.log. with the correct access permission/ownership. workaround: fix the ownership manually: chown zabbix /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.log.
