Raleigh Becket is among the most skilled Jaeger pilots in the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and one of only two Rangers in the organization's history to have successfully operated a Jaeger without assistance from a co-pilot (the other being Stacker Pentecost).
Raleigh Becket is the younger brother of Yancy Becket, and the former co-pilot of the late Secretary-General Mako Mori. Born in 1998 to Dominique and Richard Becket, Raleigh is one of the witnesses of the first Kaiju attack in August 2013.

In 2020, brothers Yancy and Raleigh Becket pilot the American Jaeger, Gipsy Danger, to defend Anchorage from a Category-3 Kaiju codenamed Knifehead, who severely damages Gipsy, killing Yancy. Raleigh kills Knifehead and pilots Gipsy solo to shore before collapsing.
