Joan Crawford (nascida Lucille Fay LeSueur; San Antonio, 23 de março de 1904 [Nota 1] – Nova Iorque, 10 de maio de 1977) foi uma atriz estadunidense. Começando como dançarina em companhias teatrais itinerantes antes de estrear na Broadway, Crawford assinou um contrato com a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) em 1925.

Joan Crawford (born Lucille Fay LeSueur; March 23, 190? – May 10, 1977) was an American actress. She started her career as a dancer in traveling theatrical companies before debuting on Broadway. Crawford was signed to a motion picture contract by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1925.
Crawford continued to choose her roles carefully, and in 1952 she was nominated for a third time, for her depiction of Myra Hudson in Sudden Fear (1952). This time the coveted Oscar went to Shirley Booth, for Come Back, Little Sheba (1952).
