The Abeemination is an item used to summon the Queen Bee boss. It can only be used in the Jungle or Underground Jungle. Attempting to use it outside of these biomes will have no effect and will not consume the item.

Queen Bee has three distinct attack patterns:
•She will level herself horizontally with the player and fly back and forth three times in an attempt to ram the player.
•She will spawn Bees while hovering (which will include larger ones in Expert mode), which attack the player. During this time the variables for how many bees she summons could be 6, 12 or 18.
•Similar to Hornets, Queen Bee will rapidly fire poisonous stingers at the player. During this pattern, she will alternate between hovering above the player, and positioning herself to swoop in at the player from above.
In Expert Mode, the speed of these attacks increases as Queen Bee takes damage.
When fought outside of the Underground Jungle, Queen Bee enrages, causing her movements to be more aggressive and firing stingers at a much faster rate.
•On the PC version, Console version, and Mobile version, Queen Bee does not despawn when far away from the player.
•This means if a player were to use a Magic Mirror or any of its variants the Queen Bee will chase them back to their spawn point no matter the distance and depending on the spawn point location, will most likely enrage and very likely kill the player.
•In multiplayer, if all players currently fighting Queen Bee die at the same time and any other players are alive at the time, the Queen Bee will pursue the other players even if they are hundreds or thousands of blocks away and will only swap aggro to a different player on the death of her current target.
•The only way to properly despawn the boss outside killing it is for all players in the world to die at once.
•In Expert Mode, Queen Bee's charges increase both in speed and number.
•At low health, Queen Bee can do up to six charges in a row before changing her attack.
Sting Operation • “Defeat the Queen Bee, the matriarch of the jungle hives.”
Defeat the Queen Bee for the first time.
•Half of Queen Bee's attacks (Contact and Stinger attacks) inflict the poison debuff, which makes the player slowly lose health. Having the Bezoar equipped makes the player immune to poison.
•The Honey naturally found in Bee Hives can be used to craft Bottled Honey or provide passive health regeneration mid-fight. However, standing in Honey will heavily slow down the player.
•The Bees do little damage, but can easily become an annoyance as they can push the player around. If the player does not have a Cobalt Shield or Obsidian Shield to avoid knockback, any grappling hook can be used to anchor the player to blocks.
•On the PC version, Console version, Mobile version, and tModLoader version, in Classic difficulty, a spinning Flail is sufficient to kill any incoming Bees before they can reach the player.
•On the PC version, Console version, Mobile version, and tModLoader version, Bees will target other enemies if they are closer than the player and can thus be distracted with statue spawned mobs or other trapped monsters.
•In Expert and Master Mode, Bees are much tougher and can easily kill the player if ignored.
•Queen Bee has the largest number of drops of any pre-Hardmode boss in the game at 15. Furthermore, she has the second-most drops of any boss, surpassed only by Plantera (a boss that is also spawned in the Underground Jungle), who has 16.
•If the player moves too far from the Queen Bee, she will charge until she reaches them.
•Strangely, although being able to inflict the Poisoned debuff, Queen Bee is not immune to it.
•Although rare, it is possible to obtain the Yelets from Queen Bee if she is defeated after one of the Mechanical Bosses has been killed.
•The 1.2 concept art of Queen Bee looked vastly different than the actual sprite that was implemented, and more resembled a Hornet compared to the final sprite.
•Queen Bee is the only boss that cannot be fought an infinite number of times per world, due to her summons being non-renewable. There is a limited number of both larvae to directly summon the boss and Hive blocks to craft the Abeemination. Although Skeletron can be fought infinitely until it is beaten, bringing it close to not being able to be fought infinitely.

•Desktop 1.4.4: Now has her own unique summon, charge and death sounds

Queen Bee is one of the few bosses that does not despawn when the player teleports away. To take advantage of this, set up a Bed and create a spawn point near your arena. Use a Magic Conch or Teleporter to teleport away when injured, and then use a Magic Mirror to return to the arena after healing.
