De Profundis é o título de uma obra de Oscar Wilde de 1897, que toma a forma de uma longa e emocional epístola épica ao seu amante Alfred Douglas, escrita na prisão de Reading, onde cumpria pena de dois anos de prisão com trabalhos forçados por atividades homossexuais pela lei de sodomia.
De Profundis (Latin: "from the depths") is a letter written by Oscar Wilde during his imprisonment in Reading Gaol, to "Bosie" ( Lord Alfred Douglas ). In its first half, Wilde recounts their previous relationship and extravagant lifestyle which eventually led to Wilde's conviction and imprisonment for gross indecency.

De Profundis, letter written from prison by Oscar Wilde. It was edited and published posthumously in 1905 as De Profundis. Its title—the first two words of Psalms 130, part of the Roman Catholic funeral service—was supplied by Wilde’s friend and literary executor Robert Ross.
