Builderman is an inactive account of david.baszucki that was used to send a welcome message to new Roblox players. It also owns many classic Roblox experiences, some of which are uncopylocked.
The account is rarely active, only being seen online nearly annually. The latest of which was on the April 17, 2023, at around 5:47 PM CST, when the account was logged into and the avatar was changed.
Before the implementation of followers, Builderman was friends with all new users by default. When followers were implemented, all previous friends would instead follow each other, and all "Best Friends" would become regular friends.
Before August 6, 2021, making a new account would automatically generate a message from Builderman, but the messages are now generated by Roblox.
Builderman's original outfit had an orange torso, yellow head, and black limbs with a wrench Classic T-shirt. He was also wearing a Builders Club Hard Hat. In 2011, this outfit had its first major change and would instead have a light skin tone, Robloxian 2.0 bundle, jeans with a grey jacket, and a Turbo Builders Club Hard Hat. The avatar would later have small changes in skin tone or clothing but that stayed mostly the same. In April 2023, the avatar changed once again, now wearing the default face as well as Roblox Shirt - Simple Pattern and Jeans.
On May 29th, 2020, Builderman's shirt was accidentally content deleted by Roblox employees. Faave made a video stating this and that ROBLOX moderation is still a huge problem. This mistake was corrected on June 1st, 2020.
The Award of Excellence is the final award handed out at the Bloxy Awards (now called the Roblox Innovation awards). It is given out to one game that is recognized for being well made by David Baszucki (although in the 7th Annual Bloxy Awards, it was awarded to two games). This one is carried out by David Baszucki as Builderman.
In early 2006, Builderman's username was "BuilderMan". However, in late 2006, his name changed to "Builderman". Then, in mid 2007, his username changed to "builderman" and still remains this way today.
•Before the friends and followers update, builderman had the most friends on Roblox with over 60 million default friends.
•The user Flashingjustice was builderman's only friend not transferred to a follower, later on, more players were added as builderman's friends for unknown reasons, but they have all been removed as of late 2015.
•builderman is one of the few players to have a hat named after themselves.
•builderman currently has the most followers on Roblox (70,637,860), and is currently following the most people on Roblox (67,863,349).
•Anyone who was friends with builderman from late 2014 or earlier, will have him following their account, and their account will be following builderman unless unfollowed. The final player to be friended - then followed was "minecraftgoldy1234".
•builderman might possibly be the first user to change their username on Roblox.

David Baszucki (/ b ə ˈ z uː k i /; born January 20, 1963), also known by his Roblox username david.baszucki, formerly builderman, is a Canadian-born American entrepreneur, engineer, and software developer. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Roblox Corporation.
