Girls und Panzer ( Japanese: ガールズ&パンツァー, Hepburn: Gāruzu ando Pantsā, with the part in German translated: "Girls and Tanks"), abbreviated as GuP or Garupan (ガルパン), is a Japanese franchise created by Actas [3] which depicts a competition between girls' high schools practicing tank warfare as a sport.
Girls und Panzer: With Mai Fuchigami, Ai Kayano, Mami Ozaki, Ikumi Nakagami. Miho Nishizumi comes from a family famous for their skills in Senshado, the art of tank warfare. However, she dishonored her family name, so she attends the no-name high school called Oorai, which doesn't have a Senshado club, wanting to stay away from it.

Katyusha is a girl with short blonde hair and light blue eyes. She wears a green-brown uniform tunic with a Russian red cross and a skirt of the same green-brown colour or, as in the match against Ooarai, a jumpsuit modeled after those worn by WW2 Russian tank operators.
The anime series follows the girls of Ooarai Girls Academy as they learn about, operate, and battle with all kinds of WWII tanks against other tanking schools while forming bonds with their machines and each other.
