Summer@Brown Online courses are offered in a wide range of disciplines – from biology and engineering to Writing and History. All are designed to be rigorous, active, student-centered learning experiences that reflect the teaching and learning goals of Summer@Brown.
Summer@Brown is the largest of our Pre-College Programs, and attracts nearly 4,000 exceptionally high-achieving and motivated students each summer. They enroll in one or more of the 200+ courses, which are designed and taught at the level of first-year college courses, and ranging in length from one to four weeks.

The first in-person Summer@Brown sessions since COVID-19’s arrival are welcoming nearly 800 high school students to campus this summer, while many others participate virtually from across the globe.
