Edimburgo (em inglês: Edinburgh; em gaélico escocês: Dùn Èideann) é uma cidade no Reino Unido e capital da Escócia, situada na margem sul do estuário do rio Forth (Firth of Forth). É sede do parlamento escocês desde 1999.
Edinburgh (/ ˈ ɛ d ɪ n b ər ə / ⓘ Scots: [ˈɛdɪnbʌrə]; Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Èideann [ˌt̪un ˈeːtʲən̪ˠ]) is the capital city of Scotland and one of its 32 council areas. The city is located in south-east Scotland, and is bounded to the north by the Firth of Forth estuary and to the south by the Pentland Hills.
Edinburgh was Scotland's largest city until Glasgow outgrew it in the first two decades of the 19th century. Following Scottish devolution in the very late 20th century, Scotland's Parliament was re-established in Edinburgh.
