    Revival/Film adaptation

    On January 31, 2014, Walt Disney Picturesannounced that an upcoming live-action film based on the series is in early development and will tell the origins of the Chip, Dale, and the Rescue Rangers. The film is was in early stages of development and a predicted release date is currently unknown at the time. The film was released via Disney+ on May 20, 2022.
