I paid a deposit to Everest Double Glazing a few weeks ago for a contract to replace my existing windows. Since then, they have gone into administration and I am now not sure of my rights. I paid the deposit using a UK credit card.

31 de jul. de 2020 · On 19th March 2020, I took out an agreement for Everest Ltd to supply and install a garage, paying a deposit. There have been delays to this supply of the product due to obtaining planning permission and obviously COVID-19 difficulties. I was not informed by Everest Ltd that they gone into administration but learnt this today.

The agreement gives a Target Installation Date of 9 to 10 weeks (although the small print states that this is not a term of the agreement). 29 de jun. de 2020 · Everest turns into Everest 2020. I unfortunately purchased Everest Windows (by debit card - yes I am kicking myself!!!). Contract signed Dec 2018, installed June 2019. The windows and installation have been appalling, having had numerous visits from Everest service engineers, quality department, etc to fix the numerous issues.
24 de abr. de 2011 · Need advice on double-glazing firms (Everest, Anglian, etc) So we're currently looking at getting new windows and doors on the house as the current ones are past their best. I've done my research and am disheartened to find that all the big firms seem to have taken a bit of a slating. Everest, Anglian and Scotia to name but a few.
22 de jun. de 2020 · Today I got this reply: Due to the devastating financial impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, you may be aware that Everest Limited went through a pre-pack administration on June 8th 2020 and that entity is no longer operational. Everest 2020 Ltd was established to acquire the Everest business and enable future trading.

We have been waiting over a year for Everest to complete a window installation at our home - this has been due to staffing changes, chaos in the administration of the Head Office, and the loss of various parts that were ordered for our job ( mislaid in Everest's yard!) .
