Nemat Talaat Shafik, Baroness Shafik, (Arabic: نعمت طلعت شفيق; born 13 August 1962) DBE HonFBA commonly known as Minouche Shafik (Arabic: مينوش شفيق), is a British-American academic and economist. She has been serving as the 20th president of Columbia University since July 2023.
Minouche Shafik is the 20th president of Columbia University and a distinguished economist with experience in global development and central banking. She was born in Egypt, educated in the UK, and has worked at the World Bank, IMF, Bank of England, and LSE.

She will leave LSE after a six year term and will take up her new appointment in July 2023.
