Mike Belitsky Jale was a Canadian alternative rock band from Halifax , Nova Scotia , Canada. Contemporaries of Sloan and The Super Friendz , they formed in 1992 and was part of the Halifax Pop Explosion scene in the 1990s.
The initial tour dates had to be cancelled when drummer Mike Belitsky had to undergo emergency wrist surgery; however, the band did perform a single show which was recorded by documentary filmmaker Ron Mann for release as the concert film The Sadies Stop and Start.
