Dame Hilary Boulding, DBE FLSW (born 25 January 1957) is a British academic administrator and former media professional. Since 2017, she has been the President of Trinity College, University of Oxford. She formerly worked for the BBC and Arts Council England, and served as Principal of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama .
Profile. As the twenty-eighth President of Trinity College I oversee the effective operation and strategic development of Trinity. I support the college’s Governing Body and Fellows and facilitate key debates and decisions about how the college fulfils its educational mission and upholds its values.
23 de mai. de 2024 · Trinity College Oxford has announced that Sir Robert Chote will be its next President. He will take up the position on 1 September 2025, succeeding Dame Hilary Boulding, who has held the role since August 2017 and will complete her term of office at the end of August 2025.
The first woman on the Governing Body was the biochemist Sue Kingsman, elected fellow in 1984. In 2017 Trinity welcomed its first female President, Dame Hilary Boulding, who is leading the college into the next chapter of our history as she oversees the Levine Building project.
