Charles II (10 October 1332 – 1 January 1387), known as the Bad, was King of Navarre beginning in 1349, as well as Count of Évreux beginning in 1343, holding both titles until his death in 1387.

Charles II (born 1332—died Jan. 1, 1387) was the king of Navarre from 1349, who made various short-lived attempts to expand Navarrese power in both France and Spain. He was the son and successor of Joan of France, queen of Navarre, and Philip, count of Évreux.

Charles II de Navarre, dit « Charles le Mauvais [1] » (Évreux, 10 octobre 1332 [2] - Pampelune 1 er janvier 1387) est roi de Navarre de 1349 à 1387 et comte d'Évreux de 1343 à 1378. Il est le fils de Philippe III comte d'Évreux et de Jeanne II reine de Navarre, fille du roi de France et de Navarre, Louis X le Hutin .
After the death of his mother (1349), King Charles II assumed the reins of government (1349–87). He played an important part in the Hundred Years' War and in the French civil unrest of the time, and on account of his deceit and cruelty he received the epithet of 'the Bad'.
